Peeling bars DIY. Home methods for neat body skin

Hello Girls!

I’ve decided to set up my home laboratory! My first cosmetic I produced were skin exfoliating bars. To prepare them, I used only natural substances. Once produced, I started using them straightaway. The result? Super smooth, moisturised and nourished skin. Come on! Do these peeling bars with me! You’re going to find the recipe below.

Peeling bars – Advantages

You may think, ‘Why should I do these peeling bars since I can buy a similar product in a drug store?’ To some extent, you’re right. However, there is one BUT. You don’t know what is inside this readymade product. You can’t be 100% sure, how long the product has been displayed on the shop’s shelf or whether somebody opened it to find out the smell of a particular product or not. I guess you will agree with me that all these factors influence the quality of the cosmetic and its action. I bet you don’t want any product you spend your money on to irritate your skin or become ineffective just after a few usages. All things concerned, it’s a good idea to prepare your own peeling bars, isn’t it?

Despite removing dead epidermis cells and supplying skin with many vitamins, exfoliating bars are very hygienic. One bar enables to perform one treatment. If you use peelings closed in jars then, during taking a bath, into the container you put your wet hands and with them you insert bacteria, epidermis and everything what floats in the bathwater. Besides, some readymade peelings may dehydrate skin. It’s completely different when it comes to your homemade peeling bars. You can mix them with any substances you want to. For example, you can use deeply nourishing substances, cleansing or even disinfecting ones.

DIY Peeling Bars

To prepare peeling bars, you’ll need: 225 g of soap made of natural and moisturising ingredients, 125 ml of any cosmetic oil, a half of a teaspoon of red clay, 250 ml of sugar and 30 drops either of orange juice or lavender oil. Also prepare: a heatproof bowl, a pot, kitchen scales and silicone forms of the shape you like most.

How to make peeling bars? Chop into small pieces the soap and put into a glass heatproof bowl. Add water, put on the cooker and put there a smaller glass bowl; thanks to this you are going to take an advantage of the steam bath. Next, add the remaining ingredients and mix everything precisely. Pour the mixture into the forms and put them into the fridge. After an hour the mass is expected to become solid – your bars are ready.

How to use DIY peeling bars?

As mentioned above, just one bar is enough to exfoliate dead epidermis cells from your entire body. Just massage the bar into your body and rinse afterwards. The good news is that you don’t have to use any moisturising creams after the procedure. After all, you added to your peeling bars natural oil and soap containing moisturizing substances.
