Hello lovelies!
Today, I’d like to encourage you to make a hand-made face cream in the comfort of your own home. No worries, it is not as difficult as it might seem;) The recipes I prepared for you today are very easy and everyone will be able to use them.
Therefore, if you want to be absolutely sure what you put on your skin, just make a cream yourself. You will need just a few easily accessible ingredients. The base is coconut oil because of its “creamy” consistency. Of course, in addition to its consistency, its moisturizing properties are also important, and also the fact that it can be used regardless of the type of complexion you have.
Under-eye cream
Start with preparing clean bowls for mixing the ingredients and a container which will be later used to store the product.
To prepare the cream you will need:
- half a tablespoon of unrefined coconut oil,
- half a teaspoon of sweet almond oil,
- 1 teaspoon of vitamin E in oil.
Combine all the ingredients until you obtain a smooth consistency. Transfer the cream into a jar and store in the refrigerator. Thanks to low temperature, it will reduce under-eye puffiness that may occur in the morning.
Face cream
To prepare the cream you will need:
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil,
- 1 teaspoon of glycerine,
- 6 tablespoons of aloe gel,
- 5 drops of chamomile essential oil,
- a pinch of spirulina.
Start with mixing coconut oil with glycerin. You can purchase it in every pharmacy, it’s very affordable. Personally, I recommend vegetable origin glycerin. Add spirulina and blend all the ingredients until they are all combined and have a smooth consistency. Spirulina relieves irritation and regenerates the epidermis. Also, it effectively prevents water loss from the skin and has a nourishing effect. Finally, add the aloe gel and the essential oil and mix for the last time. Remember that we only use natural cosmetic essential oil! Next, place it into a clean jar and your very own face cream is ready:)
As you can see, DIY cosmetics are extremely easy to make. They lack harmful substances so you can be sure they will be suitable for all skin types. Leave a comment and let me know which recipe you tried out and if you know any other, share them with us! I can’t wait to make more home-made cosmetics!:))
