Hello!
Did you know that proper hair washing, blow-drying and brushing has a huge influence on the condition of your hair and scalp? If you use inappropriate cosmetics, set too high temperature of your blow-dryer or you won’t be gentle enough, then the appearance and condition of your hair will shortly worsen.
SHAMPOOING
Wash your hair as often as it needs. If once a week is enough for you that you can continue doing so. However, if you need to wash your hair every day, do it as well! Make sure not to use too hot or too cold water. This way you could interfere with the work of sebaceous glands and as a result, contribute to increased sebum secretion. Also, dilute your shampoo with water and gently massage the scalp while washing. Remember to rinse out the lather thoroughly because any remains can cause irritations. For the final rinse, use cooler water which will seal raised cuticles and leave the hair smooth and shiny.
HAIR MASKS AND CONDITIONERS
After shampooing, always use a hair conditioner or a mask. This will provide the strands and scalp with various valuable substances. Remember to match them to the type and needs of your hair and use them as recommended by the producer. If your hair mask does not require rinsing, do not do this. Does it say to rinse out a conditioner after three minutes? There is no need to leave it in longer. Also, when buying a mask or a conditioner, pay attention to their composition. When it comes to the effects, use the products regularly and you will notice the results faster than you expect.
DRYING
It is a very important step that should never be omitted. What’s more, you must devote some time to it, to do it properly. Get rid of excess water from your soaking wet hair by wrapping it gently in a towel or a cotton cloth. Make sure not to rub it, pull it, pluck it, tear it as this will weaken the strands and increase fall out. When blow-drying, do not set the maximum hot temperature, instead, use a cool air that will seal the raised cuticles.
BRUSHING
The hair needs to be brushed at least twice a day. If your hair is long, start combing from the bottom layers and go upwards gradually. This will help your get rid of knots and tangles without any pain. Short hair does not need that. What’s more, if you have troubles with brushing, to make it easier, use a special cosmetic that will help you. You can also use anti-static products. Never forget to wash your brush or comb regularly.
