They work great, they contain natural ingredients, and their application is fabulously simple. What is that? I am talking about Hawaiian Mud sheet masks from Skin79 with volcanic clay. I had the opportunity to try out two masks. Today I will tell you about the first impressions and their effects. Read today’s post and you’ll know everything.
Skin79 Sheet Mask – skin care straight from Hawaii
The Korean brand – Skin79 – decided to go all the way to Hawaii to obtain beneficial skin care ingredients. The cosmetics comprise two types of clay (pink and green) and volcanic mud. The latter substance is rich in minerals that soothe, smooth and cleanse the skin. For this reason, Hawaiian Mud masks are recommended for people with mature, acne or oily skin. We can choose Pink Vitality or Green Soothing (or both).
Pink Vanity also contains an extract of hibiscus – a natural source of vitamin C. It has a strengthening, brightening properties and sealing effect on the blood vessels. The second mask, Green Soothing contains the Noni fruit extract. It has a strong rejuvenating and regenerating effect. It protects the skin against free radicals and premature ageing.
How to apply sheet masks? Hawaiian Mud application
The masks come in large, sealed packaging. Inside, there are two parts of the sheet divided with a thick foil. The seal is easy to tear off, just like the application is trivial. All you need to do is adjust the holes for your eyes and mouth and then press the piece with the nutrients carefully to the face. Then, leave the Skin79 mask on the skin for about 30 minutes. Excess clay is to be washed off with lukewarm water.
Muddy-clay skincare – effects
Skin79 Hawaiian Mud Green Soothing cleanses skin pores and makes them less visible. The skin is smooth, matte and soft to the touch. Unfortunately, the product does not moisturise the skin but give the feeling of tightness. Skin79 Hawaiian Mud Pink Vitality is designed to cleanse and brighten the complexion. When it comes to this particular cosmetic, I cannot say much about any spectacular moisturising effects. If the Skin79 face masks provided more hydration to the skin, those would be A+ cosmetics.
