Clean and fresh skin? It’s possible with Clinique Take The Day Off

Hello!

Makeup removal is the key step in every skin care routine. After all, clean skin equals flawless makeup. Therefore, I like to use Clinique products to get rid of the cosmetics and all dust and dirt that gathered on the skin surface during the day. I’d like to present Take the Day Off makeup remover.

Take the Day Off series from Clinique for healthy skin

Clinique Take the Day Off series comprises cosmetics that wash off the makeup, cleanse pores and condition the complexion. They include: Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips, Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil, Take the Day Off Eye Makeup Remover Stick, Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk, Take the Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes for Face & Eyes. You will recognize the products by violet-silver packaging. They are ideal for removing any type of makeup, even the waterproof one.

Why is makeup removal so important?

If you didn’t remove your makeup every day, soon, you would have to deal with blemishes, blackheads and other serious imperfections constantly appearing on your skin. What’s more, your complexion would look older than it really is, it would be dull and fatigued and that’s something we want to avoid and not increase. Therefore, before you go to sleep, or whenever you fill that the skin is overburdened with cosmetics, do not hesitate and get rid of them. Make sure to use good-quality products that will remove all traces of makeup, excess sebum, exfoliated epidermis and dirt accumulated in the pores of the skin. It’s a good idea to choose cosmetics that will also moisturise and smooth the skin texture.

How to remove makeup correctly?

For face makeup remover use cotton pads. Apply a small amount of the cosmetic to it and then wipe the complexion gently. Eye and lip makeup removal looks a bit different. The skin of this part of the face is thin and prone to damage, so be careful when removing coloured cosmetics. Put the product on the cotton pad and press it down to the eyelids or lips. After a while, the makeup should dissolve. Remember that you cannot rub these parts of the face, because you can irritate sensitive skin and weaken eyelashes.

Have you ever used any of the Clinique Take The Day Off cosmetics? Which one is your favourite one? What’s your evening routine like? Tell me everything!
