Which Anti-Redness Face Serums Work Best? HERE Are My Picks

I often receive messages from you in which you ask about my product recommendations. So instead of answering each one of you individually, I thought it may be a better idea to prepare a post showing you the best anti-redness face serums. In this way, everyone – not only those who contacted me – will get the opportunity to know my top picks. I believe there are more ladies out there who struggle with easily-irritated skin.

Throughout a couple of past years, I’ve tested quite a number of soothing serums. You wouldn’t believe how many of them failed me, how many of them turned out to be a disaster. Luckily, however, I also came across some real gems that saved me from this nasty prickling feeling and facial redness. There are only 3 of such products, but I guess we don’t need more, do we? You’ll probably pick one either way 🙂 Before presenting you my top anti-redness face serum picks, I think I should first explain…

What do I focus on when buying a face serum?

The first and the foremost thing that I ALWAYS check is the list of ingredients. The more active substances, the stronger the effects. For that reason, every time I try to find a face serum for reactive and redness-prone skin, I always check whether a particular product has chestnut extract, algae, ginkgo biloba or vitamin C. Once I find at least one of these ingredients, I look at the size and price. In most cases, I don’t pick small cosmetics because I run out of them too quickly. When it comes to the price, then, obviously, I like it when the product isn’t too expensive. On the other hand, when I find a cosmetic that has an amazing composition and is fairly big, I don’t mind spending a bit more on it. Last but not least, I always try to determine whether a face serum is vegan.

Which Anti-Redness Face Serums Work Best?

1. Nanoil, Anti-Redness Face Serum

Nanoil, Anti-Redness Face Serum

When I saw that Nanoil had expanded their regular offer by an anti-redness face serum, I knew I had to get it. Let me tell you right at the beginning that… this serum immediately become my favorite anti-redness skincare product. My skin take to this serum the moment I applied it for the first time. How do I know? Because I felt sudden relief. The more I used this serum, my face was getting more resistant to irritants. Another great effect that I noticed was the reduction of spider veins. Skin tone became even, as facial reddens was no longer an issue for me. Now I don’t have to use concealers to cover up red splotches.

My skin has no problems with soaking Nanoil serum up – it leaves no greasy feeling on my face, even when I apply it twice a day. And even though I use it so often, the serum last me long – it has 1.69 fl. oz (50 ml)! Now you know why I found Nanoil Anti-Redness Face Serum the best for me, and I think it may be the best for you too.

2. COSRX, Pure Fit Cica Serum

This Korean serum also made a great impression on me when I first used it. When you read the list of ingredients, you will see how many soothing, hydrating and skin-repairing substances it has. And that’s basically the main reason why I reach for this serum when my skin seems to have a horrible day. COSRX Pure Fit Cica Serum is also good at dealing with broken capillaries, and this effect is owed to Pennywort extract. It also is responsible for improving skin defense mechanisms.

Application isn’t troublesome. COSRX Pure Fit Cica Serum feels a bit sticky, but only for a short time – that’s why I put it on only at bedtime. Three drops used per application should be enough to cover the entire face with the serum – at least this amount works for me. This means that the 1 fl. oz (30 ml) bottle can be used for three months, or more. Finally, the price is okay and there are no problems with availability.

3. Origins, Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum

The funny thing is that I didn’t like this soothing face serum at the beginning. It used to leave me with a sticky film and I hated the smell. But since I had spent so much money on it, I thought I needed to give it a chance. And as you may have already guessed, I don’t regret making this decision. I got used to the smell, so it doesn’t bother me anymore. When I follow Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum with the face cream that belongs to the same series, I don’t feel this greasiness on my face.

Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum makes my skin resistant to external factors like for example sudden weather changes. In other words, my skin becomes less reactive. Additionally, my complexion is even-toned and simply looks better. Whenever I need to buy another bottle, I go for the smallest one, which is 1 fl. oz (30 ml), but there are also bigger options, so please bear this in mind in case you want to give Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief a try.

Anti-Redness Face Serum: Summary
