My care HIT: Aspirin face mask

Aspirin not only to fight a headache? Certainly! I’m going to prove to all the disbelievers that these are the simple products, the cheap and easy accessible, where the undervalued care power has its source. If you would like to learn the undiscovered features of Aspirin, you have to read this article ♥

I’ve been in love with natural care since I found out that it’s the best one for my skin. I don’t have nothing against reaching for substances and ingredients that are in my kitchen or the medicine cabinet to apply them to the face afterwards. If the effects are worth this, why not? I save much money that I would normally spend on expensive cosmetics. I supply my skin with what it needs and, in this way, I don’t overburden it with unnecessary preservatives nor silicones.

I would like to announce here on my blog: The Big Comeback of Our Grandma’s Beauty Trick!

Go ahead and ask your grandmas how they used to take care of their beauty, when there was few cosmetics or if they were any, these were rather hard to get or cost an arm and a leg. Despite these reversals, back then many women were more well-groomed and neat than some girls nowadays, when we have countless opportunities to take care of ourselves. It was possible thanks to homemade, natural and less costly methods. All the women needed to know what are the features of particular herbs and food products.

Today we are going to conjure up a face mask. Here is:

HOME FACE MASK FROM ASPIRIN

The essential ingredients:

  • Aspirin, which is the source of precious acid that deliver highlighting and purifying action,
  • your favourite hydrolate (for example, damask rose) or a face oil (for example, almond oil).

Aspirin Face Mask | Step by Step:

You will need 1 Aspirin pill, the one of a standard size. It’s the basic medication sold in every pharmacy, that’s why, I’m sure you shouldn’t have any problems with getting this ingredient off-the-shelf. Crush the pill, for example, by putting it on a cutting board and squeezing it with a knife, or in a mortar, if you happen to have one. Once the aspirin is in its powdery state, you need to mix it with an appropriate amount of an oil, hydrolates, or just regular fresh water. Try to obtain the consistency of a smooth, gunky cosmetic. Your face mask can’t run down your face but it has to be easy to apply and distribute all over the skin. Once the home cosmetic is ready, apply it to the face and let it sit (15 minutes is optimal), and then rinse using water. Last but not least, after such a lightening up treatment, I recommend you to protect the skin with a strongly moisturising or nourishing cream.

How does Aspirin face mask work?

  • it deeply purifies skin by eliminating blackheads and spots,
  • is able to slightly remove dead epidermis cells,
  • dries out post-acne marks which facilitates their complete removal,
  • thanks to oil use, the face mask moisturizes, nourishes and regenerates.
